V2 to Offer Dot Hill's New RAID Solution Targeted at the Small-to-Medium Size Business Market

Basingstoke, 1 June 2006: V2 Electronics today announced that it has entered into a strategic technology partnership with Dot Hill, a market leader in providing flexible storage offerings. 

V2 will add Dot Hill's next generation RAID-based storage solutions to the company's family of storage products and solutions targeted at the small and medium business market. The offering will be compliant with RoHS and WEEE standards and will feature 4Gb Fibre Channel host connectivity with Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) or Serial-ATA (SATA) disk connectivity on the back end.

The technology partnership covers joint development of storage solutions utilizing key components and patented technologies from Dot Hill, including storage controllers, data management software functionality and highly efficient and reliable packaging.
